Force 1x

i use to force 1x on my touch pro because i send a lot of text messages a day. Switching from EV to 1x often use to kill my battery. When I had it on 1x my battery life was better.

I found a cab and installed it on my tp2 but it didn't work. I looked under phone options and I couldnt find "modes of operation". Is there something im missing?

I am running MightyRom 11/25 rom

Any help is greatly appreciated. Happy holidays

Re: Force 1x

dude i've never heard of this. anytime these phones are on 1x, the batteries are severely depleted. the text sending and it switching from 3g to 1x isn't going to hurt your battery and is functioning as it's supposed to.

Re: Force 1x

One trick some people swear by is forcing 1x data. I found that this actually HURT my battery life, but try it & see if it helps you. You can force 1x under the same menu as the roaming settings, under 'mode of operation'. taken from http://rolandsdottir.blogspot.com/20...life-tips.html

thats how i had my tp setup and now i want to do it for my tp2
