39% at boot with a slow leak?

I'm brand new to smart phones, and I just got the US sprint tp2 the other day and have been digging through these forums since. I kept the stock rom, for now, ran through the cleanup threads, disabled tf3d and got my commit charge down to 39% and I watch it climb for hours while completely idle. I haven't been able to find a thread about memory usages to compare too or anyone talking about freeing up resources.

Is there another section for this stuff?

Also was wondering if there was an app to automate cleaning cache, temp files, obsolete registry entries etc.?

I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong section, if someone could point me to correct door, I'd be very grateful.

BTW, this place is awesome! So glad others got the tp2 over the Droid too!

Check out SKtools. That's what I use & it's pretty good for maintenance. It has a ram flusher & a registry cleaner, among other things.
