Touch screen broken can I still send text messages.

Hey guys, my touchscreen on my TP2 has stopped working. It will be at least till after Christmas that I can get my phone repaired. Is there a way I can still text message without having to press the send button on the screen? I have not been able to find that functionality on the keypad. It has been difficult to do basic tasks using only the keypad.

nope, not that i can tell, the send command only accessed by the scree, unless you come up with a hack to modify a key to input it. check the keyboard hacks thread.

A similar thing happened to me. Had my old Mogul 6800 reactivated by Sprint (free of charge) while my TP2 was being worked on. It's always a good idea to keep an old phone around for these kinds of situations.
