hard reset question

Ok so just about everyone knows that hard reset is necessary after flashing a new ROM. I'm just wondering if I really need to wait until customizations are done on the new software or can I just do the hard reset as soon as the ROM is done flashing. I mean, theoretically the hard reset just wipes the memory clean of any crap from the previous ROM so why wait. Any thoughts?

This has been discussed but hard resets/clear storage is done to ensure a proper install of the ROM. Just believe! No need to start a thread on this!!

Re: hard reset question

The op is not trying to say that a hard reset isn't necessary . The op is aking if its necessary to wait for the roms initial customization to finish or just hard reset right after the rom is done flashing.

I don't think its necessary to wait. I hard reset right after its done flashing.

Re: hard reset question

let the flash and rom customize before the clear storage. that's how most users do it.

exactly... just seems like un-necessary wait time to let it finish installing tweaks and apps when they're just going to get deleted and reinstalled. just wondering if i was missing something. i've done the hard resets both ways and couldn't tell a difference.
