Changing the homescreen buttons on VZW touch pro 2

Hey guys,

I apologize if theres already an answer to this question somewhere in the forum. I can't really find the direct answer to it, and im currently new to tweaking.

But here's the question. currently on my verizon TP2's home screen, right under the touchflow slider, there are the options "Phone" on the left, and "Lock" on the right. I would like to change it to something different, like in the picture below. I would like to have "Phone" and "Camera" instead. How can I do it? Thanks in advance.

Those buttons are called "softkeys". If you search for "remap right softkey" you will find the threads on the subject. Basically, you need to change the values of 2 registry keys in HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\Manilla:
HomeRSKText = Camera
HomeRSKPath = \Windows\Camera.exe
Registry keys can be changed with a program like TotalCommander, or I can make a cab file for you that will make that change.

Thanks! So those are called softkeys, and I'm going to look into TotalCommander Program and learn how to do it. Do you think you can make me a cab file in case I fail at it?

Incidentally, you can place a shortcut to your screen lock in your programs folder, start menu, or anywhere youd like. Just browse to Windows\DeviceUnlock.exe and create the desired shortcut.

To easily unlock the screen without touching the phone (in Blackberry fashion), just run a magnet over the bottom front of the phone. This will activate and unlock the screen.

Those are part of manila 2.5.

I am running Juicy's ROM that comes with this. There are a few other ROM's with it also like the Energy LEO ROM.
