Boxwave protectors are really scratch prone!

Does any one find the boxwave crystal clear protectors to be really easily scratched?? When I first got my TP2, i put a crystal clear on and the protector got some really fine cuts on it after about a week of use that made sliding on your finger on teh screen really annoying.

I contacted boxwave and they offered me a free replacement and asked me to mail them the used one. I was rocking my TP2, completely nude for about 10 days. Got no scratches on it whatsoever. Then my replacement crystal clear came in the mail, i put it on maybe two days ago. It's already scratched up and running my finger nail on the surface isn't smooth, it gets stuck where the fain cuts are.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? The boxwave apparently isn't scratch resistant at all!

Yes. I always used to buy the PPCTechs ones. And on the Diamond I had the original one on there for a good 6 months. I bought the Boxwave ones and they scuffed up pretty fast. I'll go back to buying PPCTechs for TP2. The Stock one that has come from sprint on the last few phones has been pretty good too.

That sucks. Another option is
Brando. They make great screen protectors & the only reason I don't have one now is because it look them so long to become available. They are only $10 & shipping is free til December 31st.

Re: Boxwave protectors are really scratch prone!

i used to use protectors from bestskinsever and they were really awesome. it was jsut impossible to scratch one of those things. The only downfall was that it made the screen really rubbery.

Is there anything out there that's smooth AND scratch resistant?

Re: Boxwave protectors are really scratch prone!

I have tried a few screen protectors and can agree that it seems like Boxwave's are prone to fine hairline scratches. I purchased the 5 screen protectors from Ebay for the TP2 and was surprised by their quality and clarity. I have had that one on since October and it is a clear as the day I put it on with NO scratches whatsoever.

How are the fit of these? Do they completely cover the Sprint TP2 screen even all the way to the bottom corners next to the call start and end buttons?

Also could you link me to an auction for these?

Thanks.

Bodyguardz are made specifically for TP2 so they go around bottom buttons, they also have full body kit(and yes it has a cutout on the back for Sprints huge "speaker" grill). Check online they always have 20-50% coupons floating around, and kit comes with 2 full sets as opposed to invisibleshield that comes with one only. I am not affiliated with BG just used them on all my devices so far without a problem or complaint

Same here, & I have another Boxwave on my BU phone that is a TP. The one on the TP is over a year old & still looks like new.
