Verizon Holster Broken (Warranty?)

I purchased a Verizon Holster for my TP2 on the day it was released I also bought their holster. While out of town Monday i put the phone in the holster and the top snapped off.

I called Verizon and they said there is a warranty but they want to inspect the holster for damage. I think the design is weak and the constant in and out stressed it and it broke.

I want some ammunition when I take it back. Have any of you had a similar failure.

Thanks,
Lenny

Re: Verizon Holster Broken (Warranty?)

I don't have this particular holster, but I have had numerous, numerous failures with a VZ holster for the XV6800 that was similar to this one. I went through THREE Of them, with each one lasting about two months or less. The belt clip would simply snap off after.

The good news is that Verizon will simply replace it no questions asked if you go into a store with your receipt.

At least they did for me. I gave up on their crappy holster and bought a Seidio which has no broken like the VZ design.
