Turn Off Data Arrows

This has been an issue that has been bugging me since I started flashing ROMs. On most 6.5 ROMS the data arrows stay constantly lit. From what I understand there is typically no data being transferred but this is either an issue with the ROM build or I had one cook say they did it to enhance the look of their ROM. I have flashed ROMs that said they "fixed" this issue and the arrows didn't stay lit.

Does anyone know of a cab or something that can be applied to a ROM to turn off (or grey out) the data arrows when data is not being used? It's helpful to know when trying to diagnose connection issues to see if the phone is actually trying to access data.

Thanks.

I had this issue with stock rom. I normally just set my end call button to close the data connection with a long press, that makes the arrows go away.

Re: Turn Off Data Arrows

Get Keyboard Config here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=554240
Then go to your system settings and "keyboard config" should be there.

Follow the instructions there.
