Question Lowering Volume on Touch Pro2?

Unlike some others here, I would like to LOWER the volume through the earpiece on the Touch Pro2. I have a set of Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 with microphone that completely seals all outside noises and when an incoming call comes in, it's far too loud for me to hold a conversation. The volume bar is all the way down the no bars when I am in a call and it is still too loud.

I would like to lower the in call volume, but if that means I have to lower the overall volume of the phone in itself, I'm willing to live with that as well.

I know there are registry hacks to increase call volume, but how about decreasing it?

Re: Lowering Volume on Touch Pro2?

is there a way to set ringer volume and in-call volume separately? lowering the volume while talking helps but then my ringer is lowered which is really annoying?

Re: Lowering Volume on Touch Pro2?

^ to answer my own Q in htc settings you can set independently call and ringer volume.

i also tried these registry values. one from the faq anther a guess

Regisrty: HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\InCall
Key: InitVol
Default: 2

?????
Regisrty: HKCU\Control Panel\SoundCategories\Ring
Key: InitVol
default: 5 decimal

Re: Lowering Volume on Touch Pro2?

give them a try... no harm... the settings helped the deafeningly loud TP2 (which i swapped for an imagio which came with wm6.5 and better factory tweaks)
