HTC Manila Audio Player Playlists
 

Question regarding the playlists that you can create using the Music Tab - where are those playlists stored? I have looked in \Application Data\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\Playlists - but that is always empty.

Reading other posts from all over this site - a lot of peope reference HTC Audio Manager - and after checking out the program (but not installing), it appears to be a another media player that keeps its own playlists that you can edit - but not the same lists as the Manila version. I am I correct? Another one that I actually did try is PlayListMgr - but that doesn't appear to work with HTC Manila playlists.

At the end of the day I just want to copy (backup) the playlists so I can quickly restore them after flashing. This is the only peice left, everything else via posts from this site I have been able to backup (registry settings, Opera Bookmars, etc).

You are in the correct place. They are inside \Application Data\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\AudioManager_Eng.vol. Test it by renaming that file and resetting. Your playlists and library will be gone. Put it back & reset and they will return.
