Question True Or False?...Q&A?...Just need help lol

"There are conflicts between Schap's Advanced Config and CDMA-based devices. These conflicts can cause softkeys to break and other issues such as not being able to answer calls."

I never had a problem with it but now I am on MightyROM now and I want to change my splash screen, start-up wav, and animation...and If this is true how can i do it without Schap's

Advanced Config works fine as long as you don't mess with the wrong settings (if you try to shut down data for instance it can make it impossible to answer your phone)

you can use it for that. what it's referring to is a problem with turning on data timeout ... as long as you don't do that, you're golden

True. Advanced Config is designed for GSM devices. It works fine as long as you never hit the button to restore defaults. If you do, your phone will have lots of trouble with data connections and the slide to answer button will get wonky when you try to answer a call. Someone out there has a cab to recover from the damage, otherwise you have to either manually undo the registry keys or hard reset to fix it.

How do I know this? Been there, done that. I won't ever put Advanced config on a CDMA device again!

I said that too, but then I ended up installing it anyway so I could get Pandora to play a whole song.

I used AC to make the settings change to allow that & didn't change anything else & I have had no problems at all.

Yea, but even if you screw up & do that a 2 second reg edit will fix the problem.

What is the regedit to fix not being able to answer calls using the slider? I have that problem and thought it was my ROM and now realize it is probably something I did in advanced config.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings], make sure SuspendResume is set to #777
