Sliding to answer or ignore

The slide to answer really lags for me. Plus a lot of the time I am trying to answer it or ignore, I am driving. Is there any type of tweak? I'm probably in the minority on this but I like the buttons to just tap. The lag may be something I can't avoid because when answering because I am always on my jawbone and I understand the problems with the bluetooth stack.

I used the tweak that ends calls faster. Didn't know if there was anything that picks up calls faster or takes me back to the TP1 interface on answering a call by just tapping a button.

Thats what I use send/end bottons.. less headache ..

Yeah I thought the reason for the slide to answer is so that if your phone rings your pocket you won't "butt answer" someone. The touch screen is way more sensitive than the hard buttons so I could see answering inadvertently.

have you tried to disable the htc dialer and go with the winmo one? it doesnt have slide to answer.

no. its a setting on a program called "advanced config" or "hd tweak" i will post both. it is said that advance config is for gsm versions of the phone, but ive never had any problems. just dont restore all settings through that program or iot will set it to gsm settings or something. im sure someone else will correct me on this. hd tweak works well to i believe.
