Hrmmm... Thats the same SKU the Best Buy employee auction site has for an HTC case, but its the same old Wing/Herald/Kaiser case that has been on there forever. I wonder if anything is actually different, or if they just changed the package.

My friend has the case for his Kaiser, with the two magnets on the ends, and it still wakes my TP2 up when I put it in there.

They may use the same SKU for both. The BB I stopped at had both on the same pegs. The new and the old. The new case is a bit longer, a bit different color and has leather straps instead of elastic on the sides. It also says Touch Pro 2 on the back. Sorry, no pics yet.

same here, i bought the "htc" branded case with a magnet on each end and still still drained my battery from waking it up everytime i moved..

if you put the keyboard slide sound on, then you can hear it not only when taking in and out of the case, but just by you walking or moving it still wakes it up

HMM...it doesnt do it for me. mine has the leather straps instead of the elastic. i used it on the droid and my tp2. they both have the magnet slide i place it on the pouch with the screen facing inwards. not sure if that makes a difference though.
