Anyone Using an External Antenna?

Hey, I was just wondering if anybody was using an external antenna plugged into the connector on the back?

The reason I was asking is I've been tethering at my GF's house.

I usually get like 2 or 3 bars and my speed will hang around 900kbs and tops out at like 1.1mbps.

I was just wondering if I would get better speed with a better signal. And how much of a signal boost I could expect to see, so if anybody knows let me know before I waste $40 :)
Or if the are any problems with the connector coming loose and effecting the internal antenna as has happened on some other models, besides the 6800?

Here is the one that was recommended to me "Arc Freedom Wireless Antenna" from reading about it, it seems to be pretty good.

Thanks

Actually, that is very good speed for tethering

Yeah, don't get me wrong I'm pretty happy but Faster is better.

Plus that's at night, my daytime speeds aren't as good, they constantly fluctuate between 400-900.

It all seems slow compared to my 5 meg at home though. :)

I always get the same speed, 921.6, when on EVDO, no matter WHERE I'm at. Maybe a USB limitation

Primenall - you will be wasting your cash if you buy that. Those are incredibly good speeds for EVDO... remember, 2.4Mbps is the MAX of Rev 0 while the average on Sprint is 400-800 IIRC.
