most finger friendly rom for xv6800 (titan)
 

what's the most finger friendly rom for the titan?

If you picked 6.1? or 6.5? please indicate which rom version/chef.

my buttons are all hosed and would like to find a stable finger friendly rom to load before passing it on to a friend

I thought bbs 6.5 was really finger friendly but not so stable (video doesn't play in wmp and flash light crashes pocket ie for lack of memory even when nothing else is running).

Considering 6.1 with spb pocket plus which I bought years ago when I first got this phone.

I don't think you can go wrong with a nueROM or DCD ROM and SPB Mobile Shell or Pocket Plus, if you prefer. I've tried all of the current releases of 6.5, and while extremely nice, they operate too slowly for my preference on the Titan.

DCD ROM for 100% stable

SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.1 for pure finger friendliness..

I've settled on SPB Mobile Shell over 6.1 as well (probably RyanMogul's ZeroG 6.1 rom). I really tried to like all the Touchflo/Manila 2D options for 6.1, but there were just too many bugs, hacks, & just generally unpolished aspects to it on the Titan. 6.5 is OK, but not customizable enough (yet) for what I want, and uses too much precious Titan memory. Mobile Shell works better, is more customizable, and uses less memory than Manila or 6.5.

I've tried all these options. Many, many different 6.5 roms. They have never been stable enough or fast enough and use to much memory. I have always gone back dcd's 4.1.2. rom for the stability. 6.5 is more finger friendly but it loses because overall it falls short of 6.1. SPB is really nice but uses too much memory. I've ended up using nothing. I have a blank screen. No fancy mobile shell or manilla. They just use to much ram on our phones.
