Mogul screen?

Anyone happen to know what the screen on the outside of the Mogul is made of? Glass or plastic? Why? I accidently scratched it and was thinking about polishing out if it was plastic. I'm leaning towards plastic due to the fact of how easily it scratched.

its def plastic... BUT its also a touch screen surface, hence the grid you can see when you look at the right angle at the screen and if you put tape on the screen you can pull up the first layer of the screen...

how did you scratch it? Thats what screen protectors are for mister!!!

^ I was actually just wiping the screen with my shirt. The scratch is hardly noticable, you can only see it at certain angles with the right light. Not a big deal I suppose. i don't like using those screen protectors because I can never get them installed correctly with out the air bubbles and prints.

Screen protectors are very important. If you're getting bubbles, you just need more practice with it. What I use is grid style sheets of it, and cut my own to a specific size. Then, I peel it back half way, line up one end on the phone, push it to stick in the middle with my finger, then I use a mini credit card from the edge and push all the way through the center, then push out from the center to the sides. With this method, I rarely get any bubbles. Try it out.

I have scratches on my screen but not deep scratches and nor are they noticable. Screen protectos to be get in the way and distort the color. The SP that came with the Mogul BUGGED THE HELL outta me so I had to remove it. Ive been using a soft cloth that came with a sony ericsson phone I used to have. Works wonders with no scratches
