Nobody can give a real definitive answer for you. Anything people think they gain or lose by the radio update is totally subjective and based 100% on opinion.

The bottom line is we don't have the technical breakdown of what was changed in the radio itself and since we can't physically see what was changed in the radio and also see what those changes do, its all really a simple matter of making logical guesses and assumptions.

Sorry for being so brash... wasn't my intent.

Not comparisons between radio revisions that I'm aware of.

You can definitely find a bunch of information on how CDMA radios work by visiting Google... but it won't help the matter in this case.

Honestly, if you've got insurance on your phone, you don't have anything to worry about by screwing with the radio except the possibility of a 50 dollar deductible payment. Try it and see. *shrugs*

here's a stupid question. i keep hearing about the 'radio' version. is this for an fm tuner? because i haven't seen that option. or, is the 'radio' just the phone reception for phone-y phone type things, like, uh, the phone, and evdo?
