Activesync Push Power Issue

I finally set up the Mogul with my exchange push account at work. It works great except that the screen won't time out as set in the settings. The backlight turns off, but the device won't go into "suspend" or whatever it's called. If I hit the power button, the phone suspends and activesync still pushes my email correctly. I know this was an issue when directly connected to a computer via usb, but I did not realize push would cause this same issue.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I am surprised that I am the only one having this problem since I had this problem before I installed any software (i.e. after a hard reset). Does SSL cause this type of problem?

do you mean the screen turns off but the phone doesn't sleep? or do you mean the screen stays on... im kinda confused...
