Mogul Netspeed Problem

Has anyone else noticed a decrease in speed lately. I was getting around 1Mbps in a metro region with 2-3 bars on the service. Now suddenly its dropped down to 300k.

Just to make sure it wasnt a signal quality issue, I tried again with full signal strength and still only got 300k. I followed the Tether/Internet sharing guide that was posted back a while ago.

your on completely different towers/network in diff city/state than everyone else... could have been a bandwidth issue... or signal, or non evdo hole, or anything...

Well, I suppose thats possible. I am in a verizon dominated area. But you figure that in a major metro area you would have great connectivity.

My problem was that I sit in the same place at lunch every day. One week Im doing 1 Mbps, the next 300k. Oh well.

You have to remember that (i hate saying stuff like this) "major metro area" or not, you could have the BEST CONNECTION ever but when 100,000 people are on the network its gotta start to slow down... so im sure its just a bandwidth issue... maybe the networtk throttles itself back as it needs...

Thats a distinct possibility. An annoying one, but very possible.
