Any Slide 2 Unlock Alternatives??

I find that when i use Slide to unlock on my mogul sometimes it will not notify me of any incoming calls or messages untill i wake my mogul up from sleep. Has this happened to anyone else? Has anyone found a good alternative to Slide to Unlock?
