IMAP Push email

Anyone know of a mail client that supports IMAP4 Push?

I know Outlook doesn't and since MS is pushing (pun intended) their own push protocol I am pretty sure never will. Any other client that might?

Try FlexMail 2007. I use it with my IMAP account and I love it.

Thumbs down FlexMail sucks!

Do a search on XDA, and you'll see the number of people who've had problems with FlexMail.

I've tried just about every version they've put out since they called it 2007. They advertised a whole lot of features that never worked, and the client has, on several occassions, destroyed mail on my server.

In fact, the bug/problem reports were so out of control, that they ended up disabling the forum on their website which was getting flooded with complaints!

After spending WAY too much time experimenting with clients, and loosing a bunch of email from the server due to FlexMail bugs, I ended up going back to Pocket Outlook with a timed Send/Receive every 15 minutes. Not exactly a "push" solution, but beats loosing your inbox!

I've been using FlexMail since I got my Mogul in June and haven't had any major problems. I noticed a memory leak a while back but I reinstalled it and it's been fine since.

I used it for a couple of weeks without problems as well. Just long enough for me to think it was stable and send them my money.

...before it corruted my inbox with several years worth of emails...

Good thing for backups!

Anyways, there ARE plenty of people that have used FlexMail without any problems. And then again, there ARE plenty of people that have had major problems with that product!

I have a mail2web personal exchange account but I have an IMAP IDLE server running from my desktop and wanted to see if I could get that push email as well since poutlook doesn't support it. I tried Flexmail 2007 but was unimpressed and the lack of support by most today screen profile management (PA works but it bogs down and looks very unfinished in portrait) softwares was another con.

I guess I will just forward the stuff to the mail2web account.
