Maybe something is a miss with your phone, what are your hard resettin?

Ncruze 09-25-2007 07:42 PM

I just did the regular hold down both soft keys and push reset button reset. The funny thing is..despite 90% of the files on my sd card being unreadable..a few applications and audio are viewable..weird..but man i dont know anymore..i think im done with downloads

Dmunkey 09-25-2007 08:43 PM

where are you downloading the programs from?
If theyre from sprint you probly have to re download them cuz they bont usually include the installer.

Ncruze 09-25-2007 09:20 PM

No im downloading from here..xdevelopers..other 3rd party sites

I could be wrong but it sounds like you need to format your sd card...

Make sure you are not encrypting your storage card.

Dammit GX u might be right..i just started using it right from when i got it..i didnt feel that i had to do anything to it..so how do i format it..see i blame sprint, they didnt mention anything about that to me. Storino my encryption box is unchecked..so i dont think it's that.

My SD card came formatted out of the box. Hmmmmm.

Formatting the card may help, but if the phone/card were new, you shouldn't have to format it before using it. Almost all memory cards come ready to use. You MAY have a bad card however. Formatting it might reveal if there are issues. If you are still under warranty, have Sprint swap the memory card for you. That'd at least eliminate the possibility of a bad card. (getting two bad ones would be pretty rare)
