Activesync problems

Hey was wondering if you figured this out because I am having the same problem. I have a 6700. Just updated to windows mobile 6 by Heimi. Using activesync 4.5 which I have installed and uninstalled and I still get the same problem. Please help. It seems like I cant sync anything to my device whether it is a windows mobile 5 or 6 software.

Thanks

Make sure that you check your options and verify that "USB Connection" is enabled. If it is, I would suggest completely uninstalling ActiveSync, rebooting, and re-installing the most current version of ActiveSync.

Much Luv,

Try soft resetting your device and reboot your computer. If the problem still persists, then your notification queue might be messed up.

Yes try the soft reset/ reboot pc.

Open AS window on pc and click "file" and then "delete moblie device" now open file/connection settings and make sure the USB option is connected and for now uncheck "Allow connections to one of the following" (can reenable later for BT if you want) make sure that you check "open as when my device connects" close it up.

Open AS on mogul and go to menu/options and then highlight windows pc and/or windows pc2 and hit delete, soft reset and reboot pc.

Now hook up usb and should connect, if not unplug and wait for the sounds and replug. Hopefully it will eventually set up a connection and connect.

Mine is doing this as well. I did everything listed above and it is still happening. Also AS keeps changing the name of my device. Under Settings > System> About> Device ID, I changed the name to "Mogul" and the dec. to "PPC6800". When AS finally connects it changed the name. But If I have problems again and it wont connect, when it finally does it changes the name again.

Any ideas?
