Battery Icon on Top

I just did a hard reset and my battery icon only shows on the today screen now. I used to have it on all the time. Is there a setting in the registry I need to mess with?

Thanks!

be default it only shows on the today screen on the HTC home tab
did you install a 3rd party app?

well I had it on the top bar right before the speaker and right after the [X] close button whenever I was on a different screen

I cant even find a way to get my battery icon to show up on the front screen. It was on a plug in that came with it and after I disabled that, I couldnt find a way to get it to show up.

HTC home plug in puts the Battery Icon on the top bar but only on the today screen. I am using the 5 tab with the home customizer.

Which battery icon did you have? There's the HTC icon that you show with a reg edit, but there's also a third party icon from XDA-Developers that shows the percentage of the battery. Either way, they only show on the Today screen for me, not on any other apps.

Hmmm, I know I had a program before that gave me the option to put the TIME always on top. Then I did the registry edit that changed the TIME to the BATTERY (something in localmachine/software/microsoft/shell) and I remember getting the icon to stay on top after that. Am I going crazy?

The HTC Home plugin for the HTC Touch can put the battery icon in the top menu. Not sure of anyway else to do this but if you find out I am very interested!

It never worked like that for me. I made the reg edit to show the battery icon instead of time on Today screen and made the settings change to show the time on every screen. However I would still get the time on every screen except the Today screen, which would show the battery icon.
