Exclamation AGPS finally active on Mogul

Type this address on Mogul Pie and install WM5 and up. And LIVE search finally locates your location on the map. I haven't gone out and see if my location changes but I opened like and I get a little black dot pointing to my location. Try it out. not real gps but AGPS using tower signal. Please give me feed back.

NOPE MY mistake. Ignore this. Sorry to make you all happy. This is not AGPS. That dot is actually a freaking freeway next to me.

AGPS has ALWAYS been active, it's how the e911 service works in case of an emergency and they need to locate you.

But the feature Live Search feature you are talking about is indeed new and was only announced yesterday by Sprint. It's also suppose to include voice recognition software that allows you to say "Coffee" and live search would pull up a listing for all the Coffee Shops near you.

I didtn't do nothing special, i didn't even unistall my old LIVE search. I just typed in the address and downloaded the WM5 and up file and installed it. Opened it up and now I have a little black dot showing my location. But yes its not that accurate. Its off about 5 blocks from where I am really.

Sweet... now the trick is how can we get this to work with OTHER applications, ie. google maps, or a routing application (Tom Tom, mapopolis, etc...)?

I'm sure Windows Live is the only supported app at the moment, but I'd think its a matter of time before someone writes some sort of app that can apply the data as a "virtual GPS receiver" that we can use with other apps...

Any thoughts?
