Dial with Letters?

Is there an app for this?
so i can dial like 1800COMCAST without having to touch dial?

When you install SPB Mobile Shell, it comes with an application called "SPB Contacts". I assign that to my right soft key. It does exactly what you are asking. The top half of the screen is a list of my contacts, the bottom half of the screen is a phone keypad with letters and numbers on it. For instance, if you want to call "tom", and he is in your phone book, just start typing T O M, or 866. The top half of the screen will now filter out all people in your address book that don't have that matching pattern.

If you want to dial 1800 comcast, and its not in your contacts already, it doesn't matter, you can still do it.

I think you need to elaborate what you mean.

What the previous replyer said sounds like what smartdialing can do already. (smartdial is built into the Mogul 6800 phone).

i wanna beable to go to the keyboard and dial a number by typing 1800COMCAST
I will look into this smart dialing thing now, iv seen it before but didnt know what it was...
my dialer apparently doesnt work with smart dialing (im using the iphone dialer) because when i click smart dial options nothing happens...

Yes, its similar to smart dial, but it blows smart dial away. The size of the keypad and the font used to show your what you're doing is so much bigger, its WAY easier to use... and can be assigned to a button very easily. There's probably a way to assign the phone keypad to a button, but if you try SPB Contacts, you won't want smart dial.
