How do I import .reg files

I used PHM RegEdit to export some registry entries to .reg files. Now I'm trying to import or merge them back into my WM6 registry, but can't do it for some reason. Am I just missing something obvious, or is this not possible?

Well I use Resco, and usually just clicking the .reg file will import it into the registry.

I noticed that with PHM RegEdit; It just doesn't want to play...

I was going to replace it with Resco, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I clicked on the .reg file and it "looked" like it did something, but it really didn't. It would be nice to have a free solution, but I'll have look into Resco if I want it to work.

Thanks for the help.

There are some other free ones out there, like Total Commander but I've never messed too much with them... I had always relied on PHM...

Here's a decent article about WM Registry programs... lists a few free ones...

Thanks, I'll check those out.

I have Total Commander installed, but haven't figured out how to do regedits with it yet. It's a decent program. Right now, I'm testing out Resco Explorer 2007. So far, I'm impressed with all the features it has.

Resco is totally worth the money, I have not looked back since I purchased it.
