I've got WM6 on my 6800... Are you still running the stock WM5 ROM on your 6700? Some of the kitchen cooks here might know a registry setting to have it show (kinda like the hidden GPS icon), but I'm pretty sure I've seen the option in the newest WM5 cooked roms, and even the WM6 release for the 6700.

I guess I will do a soft reset with it connected to my pc after I get off of work.

Ahh, it's futile. It didn't work. It seems to work well and then I get that pop up on my phone.

Is there supposed to be anything in - control panel - network connections, on my computer?

I really don't know where to go from here.

did u all know that there are two types of active sync 4.5 one is for the win xp and the aouther for vista i had to down load the win xp and i works just fine for me

I didn't know Vista needed ActiveSync. I googled my problem and it looks like a lot of other people have had problems with the same thing without solution.

Well, yes and no; it's actually called Windows Mobile Device Center now, but I do believe there's a update for it.
