Full Screen mode in Media Player - not switching to Landscape

Hey guys! Sorry if this has been discussed before but I did try searching for it and found nothing, thus posting now.

When I try to play a movie in Full Screen mode in Media Player, some movies such as the ones recorded on the device itself, switch to landscape mode while other movies such as WMV don't switch to landscape. They play full screen in Portrait mode which is really annoying because its not any larger than playing in non-full screen (normal) mode. Why is this happening and do you guys know of a workaround? ---The only work around I know of is to open the keyboard, then it'll display everything in landscape.

Thanks!

No one has any idea why this is happening???? No one else is having/had this problem? I am not a total noob so I am pretty sure there is not something small or silly that I am missing here.

rvashi,

I too am having this problem. I have a PPC 6700 and have upgraded to Helmi's latest WM6.1 kitchen.

I too am having the same problem. WHen i click on fullscreen it the video merely enlarges in ppotrait mode. I cannot get it to switch to landscape. This problem is also happening in Mobitv. I am running the stock vogue rom.

I remember this problem. Worked fine until I upgraded to WM 6.0 on my PPC6700. If I remember correctly, everyone had this problem. I just mapped a hardware key using aebutton to switch it to landscape mode and forgot about it.
