Who is using Opera on the 6800?

I am thinking about tossing it on mine, but wondered what people were thinking that were running it.

It's good, although in some ways not as good as the Mini version, which makes zooming in and out much easier. It displays web pages far more accurately than IE, which allows you much better compatibility.

That said, IE's generally much quicker in general. So I usually use IE and switch to Opera if the page doesn't load right in IE.

opera mini beta

i have been using the opera mini beta, with the zoom / deep fish type browsing.

I hate having to use ie after using opera.

When is deep fish actually going to go gold and be finally released?

I only use ie by accident now, or when i have to select text, for some reason you cannot do it yet with the beta opera.

Also Opera will view wap sites as well.

You can't select text in the beta... that stinks.
I heard that piscel you can zoom in to like Deep Fish kinda also... so I might have to try it like I said.

I use Opera almost exclusively. I had the mini beta on for a little while, but dumped it. For some reason, I just never liked it. Rarely do I use PIE, just out of habit I guess. I'll have to look further into Picsel, I have heard about it, but never bothered installing it. My thing is that Opera does everything that I need it to do, so why bother with all the other stuff. I do like trying the newest stuff though, sucker that I am!

Happy browsing!
