What exactly do you mean by calltone? A ringtone? There are no registry edits needed for ringtones.
|
i think he means that when someone calls him instead of hearing the ring, they hear a song. I know its been mentioned here before. SEARCH

I thought this was specific to the Provider not the phone..

That's why I ask what the poster means, Sprint does not provide this service... at least that I know of.
|
Sprint definitely DOES offer calltones, but as noted, they have NOTHING to do with the phone and are entirely a feature of Sprint. You have to visit their web site (or their store via the phone) and purchase the calltone. No registry editing needed.
If you mean ringtones, well, those don't require any registry editing, either. |
They do? Darn... I guess it's time to visit Sprint.com :D
|
Here you go. The thread below does not require any registry editing.

I've tried that, and its not working ^^

I believe it's mentioned elsewhere that Calltones (and the Sprint Digital Lounge) are broken with WM6. There's a lot of angry customers that purchased Calltones for their Palm-based phone, switched to the Mogul (WM6) and now the calltones don't work.
