I'm able to get to the calltones page with my mogul (bookmarked from my 6700) but I am not sure how to get in there now and get that special id if you don't have it already. But basically you need to find a link to the sprint site through your phone (i believe with the proxy set correctly) and then go to the vision homepage link.

Here are the original instructions to getting it to work just in case:

This is a two-part hack. First, you have to setup the Sprint proxy. Second, you have to make the website think you're running on a supported phone.

PIE Hack

1. Download a registry editor (I used PHM Registry Editor ).

2. Kill PIE(pocket internet explorer) with task manager.

3. Navigate with your editor to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent

4. You will need to edit the following values:

(Default)=Mozilla/4.0
Compatible=compatible
Desc=Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.0
Platform=Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.0
UA-Language=Windows 98; PalmSource/hspr-H102; Blazer/4.0
Version=MSIE 6.0

Exit registry editor

Proxy Connection

5. Go back to the home screen. Press Start>>Settings>>Connections>>>Proxy

6. Press Menu then Add. Title it Sprint Proxy.

7.Fill in the following settings:

Connects From: The Internet
Connects To: WAP Network
Proxy (name : port): 68.28.31.33:80
Now Press Done.

8. Open PIE. Go to Menu>>Tools>Options

9. Select Network: Wap Network. Uncheck Automatically detect settings.

10. Go To http://vision.sprintpcs.com

But.. going through this with my mogul I couldn't get it to bring up the sprint page with the id. so no luck so far with duplicating the process. but it does work with my bookmark.. so it must not be impossible??

i m not sure if this would be too much of a hassle but i know for a fact if you switch your ph to a regular ph and go to setup a calltone that it will work. and as soon as you setup your calltone you would need to call back to do a esn swap. you wouldnt be able to modify it again unless you call back to redo the esn swap.... like i said im not sure if it is worth all of the trouble but your calltone will work for the 90 days that you paid for.

Well...

The reason why the CallTones dont work is because the Mogul does not a Content Manager. Unlike other Sprint phones =P

oka i use these 2 ways and they work well for me ..

First and easiest way is to have someone bluetooh or beam them to u

second u can do this... download this program wavepad its free..after u download take a song that u want and open it up in wavepad. FRom there u can cut as much at u want from the song to the part were u want it to start and end from.
THen re-save the song into a new folder and name the folder ringtones so it makes things easier to find.

Then u have to connect your 6800 to the computer then go to start>my computer>and your phone should be there , it should say mobile device i believe. Click on it and it will open up the folder and thats were ur programs and other ringers will be. Now all u have to do is drag that ringe tone u made into that folder.
Then go back and turn ur phone on and go to start>setting>phone
u can find ur ring tone in there and save it to wthever u want.. hope this helps if u still need help u find find me on aim-hammodieh or yahoo-hammodieh@yahoo.com
