Titan Lock-Up After Idle Shutdown

If I allow the device to shutdown after x number of minutes of idle time, I can't turn the phone on by using the power button and I'm forced to reset it. This can't be right...right? I noticed the problem after trying to unlock my phone, and I'm thinking it might have something to do with having to use an exit program (or maybe because I kept screwing up and having to reset/cancel the program). Anyone know how to fix this...or any idea what I"m talking about??
