Hidden menu in 6800 with WM6.1 ..(verizon)

I was walking around with my phone in a tight spot and the phone touched something.
I could hear the beeps from the phone but didn't see what buttons were hit, but when I looked at the phone I saw a strange menu with nothing but icons with no labels whatsoever.
The icons filled the entire screen ( yes, there were many of them)
I clicked on one of the icons and SMS came up but I can't figure out how I activated that particular menu or how to get back to it...(not the SMS).
Any one else see this strange menu of icons with no labels ?

It looks like it could have been a "Quick Launch" menu....
My phone was in a holster at the time, but was not locked...
any ideas ?

What icons were they?

The icons were shaped according to what they represented. I think I saw one that looked like a printer. I tried all of the buttons on the phone but that menu never came up again, so I think it could be a multiple button sequence that brings it up.
