lcd noise?

as im typing this my screen is humming.. it sounds like a very, very faint continous tone. doesn't do it all the time. if I turn the screen off and back on the noise is gone. is this normal or do I have another defective mogul?

I had a similar problem on my 6700, with it emitting a high-pitched whine. Definitely not right. Return it.

I had the same issue with my 6700 as well. DROVE ME NUTS!!! It went away after I overclocked it to 627mhz. I still don;t know how/why it happened.

Too bad there are no overclocking apps for the mogul as of yet. DO NOT try to use Battery Status to overclock. My mogul died because of it

yeah I haven't tried any overclocking software on it.. its just doing it.. ill give it a few days til I bite the bullet and make sprint replace it again.

i'd take it back now since there is no reason to wait for an overclocking app anytime soon. o'clocking might not even solve the problem. mine was so faint you could only hear it up close but it bugged the sh!t out of me. it was like an itch inside my bellybutton that I couldn't quite itch. aaargh! just thinking about it makes me mad. check out the threads @ pdaphonehome.com for whining screens. iZll see if I can find one for you. it might have a solution, but it sounds like a defect. (although mine was solved via software)
