im sure somebody can come up with either a design with inter-changeable ends (like the old radio shack universal ac adapters ) or offer a wider range of models (hopefully including some from the list i wrote) ... seido already has a few options and i hope they understand most of the people in their customer base for these types of things demand customizability and will work on it ...

Seidio
Just received my adapter in the mail from Seidio. It doesn't work . I tried different headsets and I am not getting any sounds. The Mogul doesn't detect that there is a headset. I tried plugging in the headset to the adapter then connecting it to the phone, it didn't work. So I connected the adapter first then connected the headset, nothing. I guess I will have to RMA this.

My order # is 78062. The packing slip listed the part # as ADA-11PM35FST and the label on the bag containing the adapter listed as ADA-11PM35F. I have already requested an RMA but if you can make sure I get a working one then great!

Has anyone tried modding the headset that comes with the Mogul? I was thinking of attempting to replace the headphones with a jack myself. Seidio's adapter with a microphone is tempting, but the face that the mic is so close to the phone itself sorta makes it less appealing.

That sucks. I bought the same one and I'm waiting for it to come. Looks like I will need to do a return before i even get it.

Guys,

Search for this item (#SGEY0003602) on ebay. It originally comes with the Sprint Fusiq and is exactly what some of you are looking for (2.5mm to 3.5mm with built in mic/button on the end). I know it's not usb to 3.5 but it's still a good find.

Here's a link to an auction for one that already ended: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EWA:PIC&ih=012

I just received a replacement adapter from Seidio. It works! Apparently, the first one was either defective or the wrong part. The first one I received came in a bag. The replacement I just received from Seidio came in a plastic box. This one works! I love the adapter since it is so low profile. Seidio sent me the replacement even before I sent back the defective one to them. Great customer service!
