yeah when I try to connect the active sync doesn't recognize my device I've tried to re install the program but it won't even recognize the mogul being there anyone can help that's

is your usb port on your mogul and pc both working? try diffrent cables

well the computer pings when i connect it and the computer reconizes a connected device but the sync cant see it abd when i search the cd for the drivers it cant find anything

hmm try reinstalling activesync newest version

tried it it just makes the noise and doesntallow me to connect tell me to connect either way the program won't even allow me to connect anyway if theres more info you need to help me resolve it just let me know

So what os are you using on your PC??

Vista doesn't use Activesync it uses "Windows Mobile Device Center", if that is the case.

The newwest AS version is 4.5, like the other poster said uninstall it and reinstall from a different copy (maybe from the MS site) and don't have phone plugged in when installing.
You can also try a different USB port. Sometimes mine doesn't always connect right away, so I have to unplug listen for the sound and then plug in again.
