keyboard backlight not working...

has anyone ever experienced this problem? When i slide out to use the keyboard, less than one third of the time, the keyboard is back lit. the rest of the time it doesn't. i'm not sure if it is programs on my phone doing this. all i have on is the treo program, led killer 3.1, some htc themes, and x button.

is there a photo cell?

There's a sensor that makes the keyboard light up when it's dark. It may be that. You can disable the sensor so that it lights up every time you open the keyboard.

Mine does the same thing; even with the option checked to enable it. Most times, no matter how dark it is, it doesnt come on like it should.

I'd like to know also how to disable the sensor so that it always comes on.

EDIT: Nevermind.... found it here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...83&postcount=2
