Strange problem: Only part of contacts synchronized
 

My plan was to move the contacts from my old Samsung t809 to Mogul.
I first copied the contacts to Outlook on a laptop,
then I used ActiveSync to copy the contacts from the laptop outlook to the phone.
To my surprise, only some of the entire contacts were synchronized.

Had anyone met the same bug before???

I did set up some new categories in my old contact list... such as, my "work" category got only one contact entered into Mogul contact list, while "personal" had half in, and "services" had none copied... Poor~ I was trying to complete the mission since last night...

Done, finally.
Just saved every entry of the contacts (in Outlook) once, even without actually making any changes,
then all got updated to the phone.
Rarely use Outlook before...just use it for this synchronization purpose.
strange bug, got fixed anyway.

i hate active sync, cant figure out how to get outlook to sync my contacts. keeps saying has an unexpected error and needs to shut down. just downloaded a different backup program....just gotta figure out how to use it.

I'm having the same issue with ActiveSync.
I updated the ROM image on my 6700, then did my ActiveSync, most of my contacts sync'd, but some didn't. I can't find anything that would explain why some contacts were sync'd and some were not. I have over 600 contacts, don't want to have to open each in Outlook and save, as indicated in the solution above.

Anyone else with this issue...?

I'm going to search the forum more to see if I find any other answers.
