Use copy>paste.

Does that acutally copy the file or just the text ?
I am trying to move my tsk files to the windows directory. Not sure why vista wont allow me to access it.

Instead of trying to move the files via Explorer on your PC, instead take the files from the Mogul, copy them onto the PC, and them dump them into the right place. My XP machine has a lot of very strange issues when accessing the files on my Mogul (I can't few ANY file directly, like Word, jpgs, music, etc directly via Explorer without copying it off of it first).

Might be affecting your ability to Move, too.

And yes, Copy/Paste will work with files without issue.

I need to move the file.

If it just a tsk file you can put in the windows folder on the storage card and it will be recognized as a theme in the today settings menu. That's where I put all of mine so if I have to hard reset, I don't have to re-copy them to windows.

any way to get vista to see the windows directory on the mogul? I'm having the same issue with moving wav files into the windows directory to use as notification alerts.

Re: file explorer

In Vista, in your open window to the device click Tools > Folder Options... > View > and uncheck Hide protected operating system files. This works on the Touch.
