have a ghost sms message
 

my phone sometimes shows 1 unread sms message, sometimes on the side2unlock screen, sometimes on the htc home screen. when click on the notification, i don't see any new sms. it's been happening for a few days now.

YES!! thats happens to me too!! I thought i was the only one. The only way i can get rid of that is too soft reset and then click on the "1" and then it goes away.

What programs do you have installed? EXACT same thing to me, when I have to soft reset the phone due to the excessively low ram, when I turn it back on, it shows I have 1 message and have to click on it for it disappear; EVERYTIME I soft reset. Kind of annoying .. it might be time for that hard reset :lol:

I had that happen occasionally when I had the threaded sms program installed. I would uninstall it and then I could actually get to the text my phone kept telling me I had.

I too get the same problem. I just ignore it, and goes away after a couple new messages. I don't know, it's weird, but I live with it. New messages always show up with a popup notification anyway.

I have Slide2unlock the htc touch plug ins. Iphone dialer and some other ones i cant think of right now. It just sucks to have to soft reset.

I'll deal with it. I dont feel like doing a hard reset. Too much work :?
