Trouble with Mogul buttons

It just started happening and I think it is software related. The only buttons that work are the power and diag button. None of the other buttons work not even talk or end. Does anyone know what could be the problem. I don't wanna do a hard reset.

Thanks

Yeah, do the hard reset. It may work, but then again, it can be the early sign of your Mogul dying a slow death. First my buttons gave out, and when I couldn't remap to any working buttons anymore, I hard reset. Everything worked fine, but then the earpiece went out. Shortly after that, the screen would only work in landscape mode. Eventually (and by that, I mean last week this all happened), my friend gave me her old Mogul that was about 8 months old. The keyboard is kind of shoddy, so that's a different story.
