D-Pad works in landscape mode, but not in Portrait???

I am using WM 6.5, 21815, cooked up by JMartin. I installed Iris browser on my phone this morning. Used it for about 2 minutes, hated it, and uninstalled it. Since then, my d-pad does not work in portrait mode. It works like a champ in landscape mode, however. I have done a hard reset, still does not work. Maybe there's a setting somewhere, or a registry entry, that can "enable" the d-pad in portrait mode? It's not the end of the world, as the scroll wheel on the side of the phone still works, and all the other buttons work in portrait mode, so I can get by....but I like my d-pad. Although, maybe I can just fill out the Sprint Self Service Repair form, and attemp to get a Touch Pro

Re: D-Pad works in landscape mode, but not in Portrait???

hate to say it but if it was working before you added the app, that would lead me to suggest hard reset. should work after that but if you d-pad wasnt working at all before then i would say its a hardware problem

Re: D-Pad works in landscape mode, but not in Portrait???

I did a hard reset after I noticed the issue, and after a soft-reset didn't do squat. Not sure what happened, but the d-pad just started working about an hour ago. And I soft reset my phone every morning, so not sure what tripped the d-pad to start working all of a sudden.

Re: D-Pad works in landscape mode, but not in Portrait???

This happened to me too however it worked fine in portrait but not in landscape mode. Just recently it stopped functioning altogether. I was running ryan mogul's wm 6.5 rom, did a hard reset and still nothing worked. I'm running the stock rom for now but it doesn't look like there is anything we can do about this.

Re: D-Pad works in landscape mode, but not in Portrait???

The d-pad finally died. That was how my Mogul died a slow death, and I was running it stock. Sorry. TP2 is coming. It's time to upgrade.
