PPC6800 how to unlock

Hi there... I am new to this site... and don't know much about unlocking phones esp. smartphones... But I am trying to see if anyone knows of a good walk through or can give me a walk through on unlocking my alltel PPC6800...

I have a Boost account that I would like it to work with but I'm not sure if that can be done...

I do have WM6.1 installed...

negative on boost working with CDMA device. If you have the older CDMA Boost Unlimited, they might be able to activate

ok I have the tutorial... but what if I have already updated the radio and ROM in the past... will I still need to do this or can I skip that step?

current radio is: 3.42.50
current ROM is :3.52.671.9

The phone is already unlocked with that custom rom and radio.

ok so my radio and rom is unlocked... how can i use this phone with other providers?

im sorry im a little slow... lol

This isnt a gsm phone. You cant unlock it and just put a sim card for any carrier in it. Unlocked just means you can add custom roms and radios. The phone will work on any CDMA carrier as long as they accept the ESN in their database. But many carriers will not accept a ESN from another carrier.
