My phone was dead (if it wasn't... it is now!!!) it's a ppc6800. The FCC ID matches the Sprint Mogul. Anyone who wants it for spare parts (everything but the mainboard is fine) email jacobkujawa@aol.com. I take Paypal.

I'd like $100 for it. Probably take best offer, cause even I think that's high.

Lol. I say my phone is dead and now I get a ton of responses. lmao. I'm really not grumpy! It's just that I paid $200 for this phone and got about 3 months use out of it. I paid $150 for my razr and had it for 3 years. And I beat the crap outta that phone. Anyway, it makes sense that this would be a hardware error, considering the reboot loop it was in before I ever even started messing with the OS on it. And the only way I got it to boot into windows long enough for me to unlock it in the first place (cause i didn't know i had choices) was to smack against my knee. Then it booted long enough for an activesync connection. But anyway, I'm pretty well fed up with this thing. And I'm pretty sure it is hardware... so that's where I stand. But thanks for the help!

btw, all i did was pop the shields off on the mainboard to have a closer look.

Did you know that reboot loops can be caused by corrupt files? Or by mismatched ROMs and radios (especially when bought used - the original owner may have been clueless).

And you only gave people a short time (overnight, even!) to begin responding before you started posting multiple times. And then you created waaay too many threads (1 is usually enough). That will turn some people off who would otherwise respond with assistance.

And, please try to refrain from banging your phone or any other peice of technical equipment against a hard surface such as your knee. These things are fragile and rely on some fine tuned mechanics!

I bet it isnt dead. You just have to do everything in the right order and it will work.

This is the is the place that can give you the step by step instructions that will get your phone in working order. In your case, I would be sure not to skip any steps. Also, if one method does not work(USB), then try the other methods(sd card). You have a common issue so don't feel too hopeless. Keep us updated.
