Re: Best Media Player

I have tried so many different media players and never had much luck with any of them. I found a program called Videora that converts videos to iPod compatable videos. Strangly enough, when I put the converted videos into Windows Media Player on the phone, they played really nice. I would convert the videos for an iPod Classic and WMP seemed to like them.

Re: Best Media Player

I'm currently using Kinoma free player. It's pretty good but has some annoying habits (like indexing EVERY sound and image on your device). Overall as an average MP3, video palyer, and even YouTube streamer, it's pretty good.

By default all known application folders are avoided, so it generally does a good job of only scanning legitimate media.

If you need more control, Kinoma Play has an optional Advanced Settings app that lets you control over what folders and file types are scanned.

Thanks! As far as we know, nothing else (at any price) comes close to giving you access to more video, podcasts, radio stations, audiobooks, etc. via Kinoma Guide, SHOUTcast, Audible, and the other services that are built right in. (Not to mention great support for services like Flickr, Orb, and more.)
