ROM Upgrade help.
 

I have a Mogal with the stock windows 6.1, and wanted to upgrade to 6.5. I read couple of threads but has gotten me really confused on how to upgrade its software to 6.5. Can some please be nice enough to list what exactly I need to do to change it to 6.5. I have read the thread to unlock it but still a little confused. THANKS

Did you get your device unlocked? After that it's pretty smooth sailing. I had the most problems getting device to unlock (sync problems and such)

Alrighty,

Do you have a microSD card? If so you'll need to get a hold of nueSPL 2.47. You can get that from here:

If you don't you'll have to do this all via USB. You'll need Olipro 2.40 for that which you can grab from here:
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Im...rd-SPL-MFG.exe

For the microSD card you need to unpack the nueSPL .exe in the .rar to your phone and run it from there. For the USB just plug in your phone and run the Olipro .exe from your desktop.

After doing either of those you'll be ready to flash a radio and ROM.

So after I do one of the 2 steps listed above, my should be unlocked right?

Yes. You will notice it when you boot up the phone. It won't have the normal boot info for Radio, Version. Mine has either olipro or NUE at the top of the screen while booting (can't remember which one I used)

I luv the search button :D it helped me find this thread now im on my way too to load a custom rom on my mogul :D :D :D
