Email Question

Hello. I am a noob when it comes to the Mogul. I just got mine yesterday. I have a Alltel plan with 450-500 minutes. I don't have the data plan. I do have my email set up on my phone. Every time I look at a email or reply to a email does that just go towards my minutes? How does that work? Just curious.

Jon

Re: Email Question

Assuming you have a pay per kb then you pay per kb used. Or it wont work if you have a data block. Or you could send it over wifi only and it is free.

Re: Email Question

You'll probably have to call (or visit) an Alltel rep to discuss your specific plan. As drewcam says, your best bet is to stick to wi-fi until you learn more about how your plan is set up.

You best hurry up and get your data plan before you have a high bill you are not expecting.
Until you do, be careful of how your PPC connects to send/receive emails.

Re: Email Question

Anytime your phone connects to check your e-mail you are using data that you will be charged for. It's making a data call. Unless you use wi-fi.
