What's my Mogul still good for?
I discontinued with Sprint recently, but still have my Mogul. What would it still be useful for now that I don't have service? If I remember right, when I first got the phone and before I even hooked up service I could still browse the web. Now when I try I can't.

Re: What's my Mogul still good for?
i have a couple old moguls. my favorite thing to do with them is carry them around in my car and when i get in a fender bender, instea dof name and info i just hook up a mogul. usualy they like it. another fun thing i found to do is tie a string around it and fish for idiots. Like off a bridge or a sidewalk, somewhere with people below. Just yank it before they grab it and if they grab it say congradulations now you are a sprint customer for life. usualy when they get it they say, oh i thought it was an iphone, i dont want this POS.

Is there anyway to flash it so that it's just a PDA without the phone? I guess I want to de-Sprint it.

I'm going to turn my old Titan into a dedicated GPS for the wife's car. She also has a Bluetooth car stereo and can use the Titan to stream music to the car's audio system.

Re: What's my Mogul still good for?
I've decided to give my Sprint Mogul as a hand-me-down. I don't have sprint service for it. I just want it to be used around the house to surf the web or as a GPS device. I need Wi-Fi to work.
Now from what I understand, the Android flash for the TITAN doesn't have working Wi-Fi. So that knocks that out. Also, when I try to use my TITAN around the house it is always trying to connect internet via the Sprint radio (broadband). How can I run the device as a PDA only without the phone stuff? Is there a build that is straight old-school PDA? |
