My New Weather Plugin... Xcast

Here is a link to download my new app.

Xcast gets weather info from weather.com and displays it on the todayscreen. It's small todayscreen space and light weight app size makes it nice app to have. Plus it's free.

I have put like 40 hours into making this app. It has room for improvements, and will be updated as time goes on. The new version has the original display choice along with a few extras.

I have given 5 display choices. The first one is the original with 4 new ones.

A display choice menu with examples to choose from.

An update interval menu where you choose how often it updates.

A one page veiw of weather info in text format. Notice the scroll bar. Too much info for one screen.

A quick link to web based forcast. Links are to weather.com. Choose from 4 different types.

And last a quick look at all your settings.

Enjoy, Cody

Looks great. Love the minimal today screen space!

This is awesome, thanks so much! One question though, can it be set so it doesn't beep when navigating the menus? Also, I have Opera set as my default browser but it still opens the web forecast in PIE. Can this be changed?

Here's a question for you - how does this program (and the Mogul) respond to updates when the device isn't on (for when you're sleeping and such)? Will the phone properly shut off when it's done updating and such?
